Who writes this site
Two people write this site and two people check it, and all four are named. Nobody here is a licensed contractor, and we do not pretend otherwise.
What we do instead is show our work: every cost figure on this site names the county fee schedule, state rule or quote it came from, so you can check it without taking our word for anything.

Editors do not write the pages they check. That separation is the whole point of having them, and it is why you will never see the same name credited as both author and reviewer on a cost guide here.

LandClearingAndExcavation.com is operated by Choose4Choice, a company based in India. The site is written for and serves the United States only.
We say that plainly because a cost site that hides who runs it is asking you to trust it twice. The work that matters here — reading a Texas county's fee schedule, quoting the Florida statute correctly, showing you the state license lookup — is checkable from anywhere, and we show the source every time precisely so that where we sit does not have to be taken on faith.

No, and we do not claim to be. This is a research and publishing team, not a crew. What we do is trace every figure back to a county fee schedule, a state rule or a named quote, and show you that source next to the number so you can check it yourself. Where licensed judgement is required — whether your lot will perc, what your county will approve — we tell you to get a licensed local opinion rather than guessing on your behalf.
Who checks a page before it publishes?
