Before you send it
Two minutes of detail here saves a week of back-and-forth later. If you know any of the following, include them:
- Acreage, and how much of it needs work
- What is currently on the land — mature trees, scrub, stumps, old structures
- Whether you have had a perc test done
- Access: can a full-size dump truck reach the site?
- Your timeline, and whether a permit deadline is driving it

What happens next
You will see a confirmation page as soon as the form goes through. We review every submission by hand — we are not running an auto-dialer — and you will hear from us or from a contractor within two business days.
If we do not yet have a license-checked contractor for your county, we will tell you that plainly instead of leaving you waiting. Your details go only to licensed partner contractors who work in your area, and never to anyone else: the full detail is in our privacy policy, and you can have your record deleted at any time by emailing us.

If you install septic systems, drill wells, clear land or build driveways and you want job leads, create a contractor account or email info@landclearingandexcavation.com with your company name, service area and state license number. We license-check every company before it appears on the site.
Frequently asked questions
What happens after I submit the form?
Your project details are logged and matched against licensed contractors in your county. If we already have a contractor covering your area and service, we introduce you directly. If we do not yet, we will tell you that plainly rather than leave you waiting — and we will point you to the cost guides so you can vet quotes yourself in the meantime. You are under no obligation to hire anyone.
How many contractors will contact me?
It depends how many we have vetted in your county so far — we are building this out market by market rather than claiming national coverage we do not have yet. Where we do have coverage, getting more than one quote matters on land work: the spread between bids is often thousands of dollars.
Is this free?
Yes. Contractors pay us, never you. See the disclosure page for how that works.
I am a contractor — how do I get job leads?
Create an account at join as a contractor, or email info@landclearingandexcavation.com with your company name, service area and state license number. We license-check every company before listing, and we open cities for outreach once they are producing a steady flow of enquiries.
How do I contact you directly?
Email info@landclearingandexcavation.com. That is our contact channel for everything — corrections, contractor enquiries, press and privacy requests. We do not run a phone line, so nobody calling you claiming to be us is us.
