Who these terms are with

LandClearingAndExcavation.com is operated by Choose4Choice, a company based in India. In these terms, "we", "us" and "the site" mean that operator. "You" means anyone using the site.

By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. Questions about them go to info@landclearingandexcavation.com.

What this site is

LandClearingAndExcavation.com is a marketing and referral platform. Services are performed by licensed local partner contractors.

We publish cost research and buyer guides about land preparation work in the United States, and we connect readers who want quotes with licensed contractors who work in their area. That is the entire service.

We do not perform land work. We do not clear land, dig, grade, install septic systems, drill wells, lay drainage or build driveways. We own no equipment and employ no crews.

Our cost figures are research, not quotes

This is the most important thing on this page, so it gets its own section.

Every price on this site is a researched range, published with the basis it rests on — a county fee schedule, a state rule, published contractor pricing, or quotes shared with us. Ranges are national or regional unless a page says otherwise.

A range is not an offer, not a quote, not a bid, and not a promise that anyone will do your job for that money. Land work prices swing enormously on soil, slope, access, haul distance, vegetation, water table and county rules. A job that costs $8,000 on one lot can cost $20,000 on the lot next door, and our guides say so at length precisely because that variance is the point.

Do not budget from a figure on this site without getting real quotes. We publish these numbers so you can tell whether a quote is sane, not so you can skip getting one.

Our calculators work the same way. They apply published rates to the inputs you type. They cannot see your land, and their output is an estimate for orientation only.

Our role when you request quotes

When you submit the quote form, we pass your details to licensed contractors who work in your area, as described in our privacy policy. After that:

• The contractor contacts you directly and deals with you directly.
• Any agreement you reach is between you and that contractor. We are not a party to it.
• We do not set their prices, write their contracts, schedule their work, supervise it, inspect it or warrant it.
• We do not guarantee that any contractor will respond, quote, or accept your job.

We check licence status against the state register when we list a contractor, and we link the state lookup for every state we cover so you can check yourself. A register entry is a snapshot in time. Verify licence, insurance and bonding yourself before you sign anything or pay a deposit. That advice is not us dodging — it is what we would tell a friend.

What you agree to do

• Give accurate information when you submit the form. A ZIP code that is not yours wastes a contractor's time and yours.
• Use the form for genuine enquiries about work you actually want done.
• Not scrape, republish or resell our content, cost tables or calculators without written permission.
• Not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site.
• Not submit anyone else's personal details without their permission.

Contractor accounts

If you sign up for a contractor account, you additionally agree that:

• The business, licence and contact details you give us are accurate and current, and you will update them when they change.
• You hold the licences and insurance your state and county require for the work you list.
• You are responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping your password to yourself.
• We may verify your licence against the state register, and may decline, suspend or remove a listing — including for an unverifiable licence, a pattern of complaints, or misrepresentation.
• Leads we pass to you contain a person's real contact details. Use them for that person's project and nothing else.

Paid placement is never sold as a review, a rating or an editorial recommendation. What can and cannot be bought is set out on the disclosure page.

Our content

The text, cost tables, calculators, images and page structure on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You may quote a reasonable extract with a link back to the page. You may not republish whole pages, mirror the site, or build a competing dataset from our tables.

Where we quote a statute, agency document or extension publication, that source belongs to its author. We cite it so you can go and read the original, and you should.

Links to other sites

We link to state licence registers, county permit offices, statutes, agency guidance and university extension research, because a cost claim you cannot check is not worth much. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their availability.

No warranty, and the limits of what we owe you

We work hard on accuracy: figures are sourced, dated and re-checked, and we correct mistakes when they are pointed out. But the site is provided as is. We do not warrant that every figure is current for your county today, that the site is uninterrupted, or that it is fit for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from:

• a decision you made based on a cost figure or calculator output on this site;
• the work, conduct, pricing, delay or non-performance of any contractor you were referred to;
• a dispute between you and a contractor;
• the site being unavailable.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Corrections

If a figure here is wrong, we want to know — particularly from contractors who price this work every week. Email info@landclearingandexcavation.com with the county and we will correct the page and move its review date. How we handle corrections is in the editorial policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
